EPIQ says - My name is EPIQ, blogEPIQ...

Assalamualaikum / Hi......... =) After such a long period of absence, I returned for another post... Sorry very much... I found it hard to squeeze my schedule to blog... Nevertheless, I wanna share my insights on latest installment to James Bond series: SKYFALL

Imagine me walking in this poster... =P

It all started when Bond was in a mission to retrieve a leaked lists of MI6 operatives but as the plot progresses, he discovered Raoul Silva (former MI6 operative) has something much more sinister in his sleeve. With the relevance of MI6 existence being questioned as well as been attacked by its former operative, it is up to 007 and M to restore things back into order.

As an amateur fan of Bond movies, I found that this movie is refreshing view on what espionage is and the magnitude and direction of Bond's developments especially after 50 years since its first movie (Dr. No) being launched. He depends less on his gadgets and relies more on improvisation of his surrounding and as time goes by, 007 turned from someone glamorous to something more realistic and gritty.

There are two main lessons I would like to share here:
  1. Although Bond failed his agent competency test, M still entrusted him for the mission and as this movie proved, he nailed it big time. What I want to stress is not all successes and failures in this world can be determined by tests or exams. Perhaps there are some other qualities that even tests can explore but only you can do it.
  2. Raoul Silva turned against MI6 after felt himself betrayed and neglected. As a part of an organisation, it is essential to look after each and everyone of us to hinder fatigue or any of our members being left out or in Arabic we refer it as 'al-Futur'. People with this disease may slow down an organisation or grind things to a halt or as demonstrated in this movie, may even breed a traitor. Therefore, please take good care of those with you.. =)
As you might aware of, Bond movies usually include sensual scenes but fortunately the cinema at my place has already 'cut' that part out but in case the cinemas at yours don't, please be careful of what you and those with you are watching.

Enough of my bla-bla-bla for today, pray that ALLAH give me more strength to share with you guys more... See ya and Assalamualaikum ...
